Anokhi Parikh

Anokhi is pursuing her Ph.D. at the London School of Economics. She is focusing on new city development in India. As part of her PhD at the London School of Economics, Anokhi’s work focusses on the emergence of new cities in India. Prior to joining the LSE she was the Deputy Director of the Climate Project India, a Mumbai-based environmental NGO. Between 2005 and 2008, she lived in South Africa, where she was an Overseas Development Institute Fellow (2005-07) within the health sector. She subsequently worked at the Centre for Applied Legal Studies, Johannesburg where she conducted research on basic services, water rights and pre-paid water meters in South African settlements.

 Anokhi is pursuing her Ph.D. at the London School of Economics. She is focusing on new city development in India.
